Thread: Help! (serial number, image files)

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please help me how to detect the serial number of the motherboard and CPU so that i can use it in my program. Also please help me how to detect the name of the drives ( floppy derive, hard drive ) and to create, read image files ( bmp, jpg ).
Please help me to do these things using C programming

If your in win 98 u can type dir at command-line to get the serial number of the hd.
