question about printing on screen and not overwriting text...
is there anyway that you can change the backround color of text that keeps the text on screen?
im using ansi codes to make a "highlight" function for a menu of a game and i need someway, if possible, to keep the words on screen and change the backround color of the selected item within a bounds
if there's a function that changes the foreground and background colors without changing text in a certain area, that'd be great
I don't know everything that is ansi or not (btw do you mean standard ansi?) but the only way I know of is to reprint the text each time, changing the color codes of the text when needed.
