A quick thanks for existing.....
My son is an 11 year old in his second C++ programming course long distance learning with Stanford University. He (& I) have learned in a vacuum, with no help from the public school system. Stanford is great, but brief in their lecture presentations, and it can take days for his tutor to email a response to a question (which is why I've been learning alongside him, just to provide someone to bounce ideas off).
Tonight I found this site - and think that I've gone to heaven! I was able to cruise through the threads on prime numbers & functions, and gather enough general info so that his lesson was finally clear to me, and I know will be clear to him when he sees the discussions.
Thanks to all who keep this running! We may not post often, but I think that we finally have found the resource that we've been lacking.
