I say a few other posts that were headed in this same direction I'm going here but here goes anyway, the high school driving instructor is not oldest person at the school who does not have a liscense. At the boards (particularly this one and the C++ board) the bulk of questions would fall into the "newbie" catagory. Therefore it is safe to say as a member of the boards you already have a large group of beginners to learn with. In addition you have a large base of more experienced/advanced programmers to learn from.

If you want to talk C++, go to the C++ board. Don't flood messages on here either please.
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags:
/* insert code here */
Hey, there's no need to start a group like that. It already exists-- www.cprogramming.com.

But atleast here, you have the benefit of having a few (literally) advanced persons to atleast shape and guide you. Without that, you never will go anywhere with it.

This board shows that most people, without guidance, never move beyond the hack stage or DOS or finally get past the foibles of the language and compiler to writing logic.

...Oh well...
It is not the spoon that bends, it is you who bends around the spoon.

How about making another website:
www.C++programming.com
So far I have seen Cprogramming.com do a great job to help C people but not yet enough help
for C++ newbies/askees. Can we make another site
name www.C++programming.com with its mother
website is www.cprogramming???
Just an idea??? Anyone agree?

Ask a question. It's difficult to guide someone when you have no idea what level they're at.

>So far I have seen Cprogramming.com do a great job to help C people but not yet enough helpfor C++ newbies/askees.
I'm sorry? I may be looking at a different forum, but the C++ boards are used much more than the C boards.

Yes the channel is currently dead, until I get a website up and get things organized just a bit (I hope to have some sort of a site up by monday).
As for there not being enough C++, I totaly disagree with that, it seems that most things want to shove c++ on you and give little on C. Even Cprogramming.com mostly deals with C++.
Also, I know that that this board/site is an excellent place to learn and ask questions, but it's always a good idea to have multiple sources of information, right?

Oops, by the way, I'm looking for someone to design the website for this page. I know this is alot to ask and short notice (since I'm shooting to have it up for monday.) However, if you want to make the page PLEASE e-mail me. If I can not find anyone, I will make the page myself, however I can't say it will turn out looking all that pretty.
