Is there a way to reboot a comp without using a reboot floppy because my comp isn't starting in win ME, It says "INVALID SYSTEM DISC" when there is no disc in the floppy drive and my reboot floppy(form norton antivirous) is screwed up.

INVALID SYSTEM DISC means your hard drive is not being detected properly.

so is there a way to make the comp the detect the hard drive properly
thankx
(this should be in general really)
Open the case and check if the ide or scsi cable is connected correctly
Check the power cable is in correctly
Check there is an operating system on the hard disk and it is bootable
Check the bios and check if it is set to boot from the hard drive
Check the hard drive and check the hard drive configuration

well, that's the problem, I don't wanna open my case cause my warrenty will go out. I still have a year and a half left.
can anybody please tell me how to get to the dos mode while my comp is restrating?
1. Find anyone else who has WinME, and ask them to create a boot floppy for you.
2. You have an extremely unforgiving warranty if you can't open the case. I'd be mortified if I couldn't open the case to add new disks / cards / memory etc.
Send it back to the seller if its under warranty then.
