Thread: Ettercap

I have been programming in C for a while. Now I want to take my learning to the next level. For that I am planning to learn Ettercap.

Its a complex and a complicated tool so I was wondering a step by step approach to learn it. My questions :

Are there any small projects that i can do which might help me learn Ettercap in the long run

Should I learn Computer Networks & Unix Network programming and protocols or learn them on the fly as and when required.

You don't need a library for MITM attacks. What is your purpose in wanting to learn this?
