What is intellectual property rights? If you tell me, I'll do some searching.

Intellectual Property is "property produced by effort of the mind, as distinct from real or personal property." <---Newton's Telecom Dictionary 17th edition.
I did a search on the web for it and all I could really find was a bunch of law firms that are more then happy to take my money to help me. I'm just looking for a good site to get basic information.
I tried looking for the same thing a while ago, didn't get too far, I asked here I think the post is named the same as you have chosen, I got some good info from the board.
Ok this is too freakin funny Generator. You work(ed?) for a Telco company called TELUS in Canada.
I'm in the Marine Corps and am a telephone switch board technican. Your company has come out here to provided us training. Once as BC TEL and a couple times as TELUS.
The programming I'm writing is for work also. I find the irony just to humorous
Ha!,
That's hilarious, I still work for TELUS. BCTEL is crap don't work with them, they don't organize their data at all TELUS thinks of BCTEL as a bunch of cavemen the way they run things. I thought I was the only telecom guy on the board. What were they training you on?
I work on a Nortel DMS 100 and SL 100 (we have two switches).
Nice,
I used to program PBX's a while ago. That was the best job. Now I do CCR scripting and goof around with mmr mail and call flows. If you have any questions about that stuff man email me Im not the best C++er but I know my Nortel. Anyways, Im at work right now, gotta go.
Try this site,
www.ipaustralia.gov.au
they have basic info on types of IP (may be subject to Aussie law).
