Using GObject

HI everyone!
For the last few days I was looking for a good tutorial on how to use GObject. But without good results. What I am looking for is well explained tutorial(I am not very familiar with object oriented programming). Also, I would like to know, if writing C application completely basing on glib(without using standart headers, only with glib.h) possible?
