I don't have Windows 8 or Microsoft Visual C++ 2010, but from what I have read it should work on C code in windows 8.

thanks to ye both have downloaded this version but it will not open I think I will dump windows 8 as it is causing too much trouble my dvd will not work as well as some other programs also I need dev+c++ as its used in collage thanks dave
have downloaded code blocks and seems to work fine will stick with windows 8 for awhile yet thanks dave
