how to do this on MS Virtual Studio?

    Hi,

I am new to Microsoft Virtual Studio 2008. I have a solution called "test" with source files: file1.c and file2.c. There are functions inside file2.c that I call out from file1.c

When I click on "Build", and then, rebuild "test", the file "test.exe" gets created inside the "Debug" directory. I notice that the file "file1.obj" and "file2.obj" got created inside the "Debug" directory also.

I would like to build my compiled file "test.exe" with only file1.c and file2.obj. How can I do this on Virtual Studio 2008?

    Thanks in advance.

Does this really matter? If you are going to distribute your program, just package "test.exe" for the distribution.
