    How to get my screen resolution using C ?

    Hello there,

    I am using linux (ubuntu) distro. In a project I stucked when I want the exact screen width and height using C language.

    Please help, how can I get it.

    This may get better suggestions at the "Linux" flavored board.

    Should this maybe be moved?

    In any event, the real screen size, the virtual screen size, and the adjusted resolution may all be different. If you are trying to draw or buffer something relative to what is displayed on the screen you'll have to tell us what API you are using as it will be accessed differently depending on the API.
