Need C program_How to control the power levels between TX &RX

Hi everyone,


I am working on Wireless Networks. I am trying to develop a power control algorithm for device-to-device communication using Xilinx software development kit with C . I have to operate the power levels between Radio Tx and Rx. Regarding this i have to develop a code in C. I need your help for this. I am confusing with logic. If anybody have example programs with this, Could you please help me out from this confusion.

This may have to do with converting power watt to db or the other way around. But I think this is less of a 'C' problem and more of a logic and understanding Xilinx.
