im trying to write a program that will take a screenshot of a predifined pixel area and analyse it to give me the colour, number and some text, i need to then find out averages and find a way to export to excel, im on windows 7 and i havent yet downloaded any c program but do have a little experience coding with it thanks for the help

ye sorry thought i wrote it i have found lots of examples of taking screen shots but how do i go about analysing them for differnt colours and so on, then display them on another window
That depends on how you're storing the pixels. Create a program that will take the screen shot and post that code.
