    Hello and PWM help

Hello everyone my name is Josh I am a beginner with C code(I donít know how to write at all), I am looking at a book: C++: A Beginner's Guide, Second Edition, Herbert Schildt.

The majority of code I need to write will be PWM (Pulse-width modulation), I want to program a PIC to turn on some LEDs based on the current time, I would like them to fade on and off(PWM). Does anyone know of some info/resource I can use to help explain how to write PWM(I donít want anyone to write it for me)

Your question boils down to "how do I use google?" Try this:

Tell me... if you had a Ford to fix... would you try to do it from a Chevy manual?

If you want to learn C... learn C... not C++.

(Yes, they're two completely different things)

You'll need to get some books by a different author as well.
    bullschildt
Schildt books might be easy on the eye, but when it comes to technical accuracy, they're about as useful as a mills & boon novel.

See our book list sticky thread.

Could you move this thread to the right board and give me some suggestions on a better book?

This is the right forum, and how hard did you look for this -> C Book Recommendations
