    Emacs and debugging

    Hi there,

I am trying to learn how to use emacs debugger, but it is being rather a bugger instead.

When I go into from emacs, it all goes fine. Then try list command and nothing at all, just another text editor.

    What am I doing wrong?

in fact as soon as it goes into gdb then it is not possible to do anything than display input from the keyboard. Return becomes new line only?????????

I can't find anything on google, am I really the only person in the world with this problem?
