FWIW, the SNR for most tutorial videos is appalling. Megabytes of crappy low-res video vs. a few KB of crisp clean text you can read whenever you like.
The only positive thing about them is that you can't simply copy/paste any source code you might see. At least the student might have to think a little bit whilst typing.
