If you want to do robotics, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or engineering physics, are probably better choices than computer science. Unless you want to go into pure algorithmic research, instead of actually building robots.
Unfortunately (or fortunately), building even a simple robot requires quite a bit of electronics and mechanical design, especially if you want to use more advanced sensors and actuators.
Programming is a big part in robotics, but is not all of it.
