The standard C library has nothing to do with sound and colors, but there are many libraries available for any platform which will let you do these. An example is MuttDosLibrary which has mouse, keyboard, graphics, system speaker music, and much more. But im too lazy to bring it too school (I dont have an internet connection at home) and there are a few problems with the functions which hook to the clock.
If you enter the "Source" section from the main page on Cprogramming.com you will find source code for both music (Wave) and graphics (mainly VGA and SVGA).
