Hi,
i want to convert an utf file 8 to utf 16.
Is the only way to do this with low operating functions like fread and fwrite or is there a way with e.g. fgetc ?
Thank you for your interest,
Lebod

In windows you use MultiByteToWideChar(). Under *nix you use the iconv library.

GNU also offers this in glib:
