    You should try searching for Pic microcontroller projects. Maybe you can find one that resembles your need.

    try joining the PIClist and asking a question there - they are the experts on microchip really.

    try searching on the microchip (microchip.com) website, they should have some LCD driver sample code for that device which you could adapt
