First time GUI program tips and help needed.

Hello,

I have done a good amount of programming (logical type, solving math problems and such, almost no GUI at all). I have programmed in turing -> java -> C and most recently matlab. I want to make a program with a GUI now that will work as a database. When programming in C, I used Jen's File Editor. I don't know what I need to download and what API (not sure if thats the corrent terminology, but I mean add on for GUI) to work with GUI. Any help will be great appreciated.

You can make a GUI in C using GTK+; one possible API for you.
