    Question TCPDUMP question.

    Hi,
I would like to ask whether I can use TCPDUMP to capture the content of the ip packet in the network? Because when I execute TCPDUMP executable on Unix (Solaris), I can only see all the request & acknowledgement being captured on screen, but I can't see any text message (during the time of sniffing, I am surfing the net, supposedly I should see some HTML text on screen?)
The following is how I execute TCPDUMP:

    ./tcpdump -i [network card] ip host 129.223.36.238

What should I do in order to capture the content of the ip packet as well?

    Thanks and regards!

Im not sure, and if Im wrong someone correct me (cause Im only guessing) but redirect it to a file e.g
    Code:
     ./tcpdump -i [network card] ip host 129.223.36.238 >> file.txt
I don't really know, like i said im guessing you may have already tried this.
