This is to you guys who program for your job, or used to, or are going to. What college did you go to and what would be a good kind of college to go to to get a good c++ programming job?

    Thanks for the help

Why are you so intent on getting a C++ programming job?
There are 10 types of people in this world, those who cringed when reading the beginning of this sentence and those who salivated to how superior they are for understanding something as simple as binary.

Choosing the source of your education based on a specific intent to use a specific language that may or may not be widely used 10 or even 5 years from now is probably unsafe. I'd stick to general computer science and learn how to program, not just in C++.

Also, you might change your mind about wanting to get a C++ programming job.

Ok, here's a list that you might want to learn. :-)

    Ruby
    Oz
    Factor
    Scheme
    Haskell
    Erlang
    D

Most of these are not good languages, but at least one is. (Is Java a good language? You'll find out.)
