He's done soon.... Dammit.... He's my favorite author of all time. I just hope that finishing the Dark Tower's in his plans somewhere...

I grew up on his stuff as a kid....

I loved Salem's Lot, Dark Half, Dead Zone, Shining and loads of his short stories (Rage, Body, Shawshank......) are mongst his best work. Those stories will always stay with me, but I must say some of his stuff was not too good IMHO.....they seemed forced, as if he HAD to write them (Gerald's Game, Misery.....).

I used to like Clive Barker's early stuff......it was real weird........ strong fantasy that was dark as hell in places
