    Finland? Where is it?

Who of you guys really knows the location of Finland?

I'm just curious to know that. Some time ago I heared from one weard guy that there live polar bears here in Finland. Have you ever heared something as crazy?

There is a map on the general information page.

On the new euro coin, Sweden looks like a penis (grr) and finland is the balls.

I guess the European know where Finland is, but most people from outside Europe don't. I remember an interview with president Bush, I think that president Bush doesn't know any country in Europe, perhaps the UK. If he, the president of one of the most powerful countries in the world doesn't know the countries in Europe, how can we European expect that the normal people do?

Hmmm. Don't know. At elementary school I've also learned about countries and some large cities all over the world. But since I'm mainly travelling through Europe this is the only part of the world which I know quite detailed. I guess Fargo is somewhere in the USA?

Europe consists of small and quite independent countries. Do you American or Russian (or whoever lives in a very large country) know what's going on at the other side of the country where you live? I can imagine that because of the large distances this is hard. For example, I just know very little about what's going on in Greece and I can't understand a single word of Greek.

The news is usually very global. In the Netherlands we also have that show. But I don't know in very detail what's going on in for example Greece, Lituania, Portugal or even Luxemburg.
