Now that I have your attention: The word depricated is not in my Webster's New World Dictionary. In fact, as I type this message, Firefox reports to me that I have a misspelled word: depricated. Nice and red under-squiggled, yet under-squiggled is not.
What is the origin of depricated? I see it all throughout the free software community, in fact, this word is even in Linux menuconfig.
Please enlighten me.

Usually it's termed "British" and "American", at least that's what I hear. Of course, it's "regular" for me, too.
