"Can you read my text?" "No"

This was the end of a conversation I had with a friend on Yahoo Messenger...

    Code:
Friend: "Hang on, I can't read your text"
Friend has stopped viewing your webcam
Me: "Can you read it now?"
    Friend: "No"
Me: "You can't read my text?"
    Friend: "Nope"
Friend: "Hang on, let me close down Yahoo and log in again"
    Friend has logged off.
Call me nuts, but I have a feeling my friend was lying to me... any one have a different opinion?

These responses suck... I never said it was a joke, @nthony's was pointless, and Bob just stating the obvious. This person is choice to blame this on the internet connection and I just wanted a few more people to say how ridiculous that is. So, I guess Prog, I'll give you the finger... you can pass it down when you're done with it... make sure everyone gets a chance to see it, though.

Are you sure of that? Read it again and answer the question. Hint: give a typical IM breve response.

Yes, pretty much. The other boards get boring after seeing the same threads for the 50th time.
