lol...AOL should put: if you dont have a phoneline, then you wont be able to connect to the internet
apache is the server. that is it is the http server - the software that serves the web documents when the client machine requests them. With a http server and php support enabled i dont need to be connected all the time

Oh, apache is just an HTTP server? Oh, I thought it was something super advanced. You know, you can download a free http server...Although they probably have big security issues.

The worst program to uninstall: Gator! They must ask you 6 times...if you uninstall you won't be able to use etc.....Worst part is you never actually install...lol it does it itself!
