    Personal use security sw?

I'm looking for an app that I use on my external hard drive that I travel with to store and protect all my documents. Anyone know of any simple pieces of software that's not too expensive and is simple to install and use. I hate buying an app and having a boat load of functionality that I have no interest in using.

I've got a flash drive with a pre-loaded password protected app on it and it won't work with Vista so it needs to be compatible.

    Any help is greatly appreciated,

If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

Same idea as other link I guess... just another option. A requirement on all laptops used where I work.

Look at mcrypt (Google it). Simple command line application which can encrypt/decrypt a lot of different ciphers. I personally like to use Blowfish.

You'll probably have to compile it.
