    Current website project...

Critique my website. For the...um...5th time? This website is for an upcoming mod I'm working on. http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/2...bbysitekm7.png

There will be text in the lighter gray boxes. It's a picture now, but will become a Flash site.

err... it's just a picture of an empty website...

    But it looks good, yes.

Yes, but it's not just any picture, it's a .PNG!!!!!!!

The site isn't technically "up" yet, I'm just showing what I have done. Or are you just being a smart arse?

I think it's a pretty clean design (I like clean!), and very business-like. Thanks for liking it!

BTW, it will be a Flash site!

No, really. It caught me by surprise. Usually when people ask for advise on a website they have it presented as... a website

You know, links, text (even if sample text). Just to get a feeling of text placement, colors, navigation, ...

But the little provided does look good, as I said.

Ok, I'll probably have the .swf and .html attached tomorrow for people to try it out.

Pretty good actually. Although, I've got a few critiques if you don't mind.

    1. The menu bar above has too much height.
    2. Err, no header?
    3. Just a suggestion. Maybe you should add a search bar.

BTW, I liked the color and layout.

The colours are somewhat morbid, like I can talk though my site's all black with white text and blood coloured links. I agree with g4[...] about the height of the menu bar. Unless you're using images as options, with your current text size it is too wide. Padding is necessary of course, but don't go overboard with it!

Plus, he did have sample text!! Didn't ye all see the "HOMEHOMEHOMEHOMEHOMEHOMEHOME..." or was that just me?

What sorta things are you thinking about putting in the left, darker shade of grey, side and the right, lighter shade?, both top and bottom? There is a lot of empty space at the top too ...

There will be text and images in the content areas (dark gray, light gray). I forgot about the header! I need to add one. About the height of the menu, it's just the style of the design.

I've added a header, and showed what the rollovers look like. As well, as added some text to the lighter gray spaces for reference. http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/1...bupdateqw0.png

I updated it with Lorem ipsum! I'm professional now!

Out of curiosity, how much would you guys pay for this website? It has a dynamic content system, which basically means, it reads from a text file. How much would you pay, honestly?
