If everything ends up the way it should be, it'd be great for Colombia. Well, you don't have to worry too much until the 20 th of Jannuary, that's when the pact of Zona de Distensión ends. Then you'll know what will happend. Raúl Reyes says that they still believe in the Peace Process (for the next 48 hours only, though).

BTW, I'm sure that all the cartels in Colombia have more money than your government, so I'm glad the yankees are with you. They invest a lot of money because of all the coca coming from Colombia to the US cost (I know they do), so it's worth for them to try to erradicate this problem from its base.

Hey, hey, hey... I'd like to heard the other side of the story: is it a rebel or a terrorist but these people have something they fight for. What's that reason in Colombia?

For what it's worth, the actions of the U.S. government don't always reflect the desire of U.S. citizens (or for that matter, the majority of U.S. citizens) :)
