    Misleading Package sign

I looked in the bathroom and saw a bandage box. Well, I was curious and took a look on it. It said "Tear to Open" (paper bag) at the top. But when I looked at the bottom, it said "Do not use if open or damaged".

What does that mean? Do I just buy the product and throw it out because I cannot use it?

I think that means before you buy it, or that their not responsible for the bandage once you take them from their "sterile"(sp?) environment.
if a contradiction was contradicted would that contradition contradict the origional crontradiction?
