    hehe. I do, I do
The programmer’s wife tells him: “Run to the store and pick up a loaf of bread. If they have eggs, get a dozen.”
The programmer comes home with 12 loaves of bread.

I'm sure he didn't. We don't want this nice topic to go too far off topic now guys.
As for me being a perfect gentleman, I think the board needed one, don't you? I'm civil to everyone all the time. *sips his tea here* As long as I'm around all claims that the board has no class are false.

Darn. You are right. Not a common typo coming from me. I have better ones. But that one is shameful!

But, going on topic, I don't see homework posts as a bad thing. I do agree some are really shameful. But sometimes (most times) it is possible to actually answer them without providing any code. Just giving the OP a pointer or two.

Q: How do I do this or that?

A: Use containers. Read about them over here (provide link).

If he insists on code... then... well... yeah...

But I agree with you. However, i'm only against people who ask for complete code. if someone simply wants to know how to use a function they have never used before, well, that's fine then, IMO, but a whole main() thing ... no chance.
