    Don't do drugs...

I just thought I'd give everyone here that advise.

Me and my friend each dropped three "yellow jackets" a while ago. We're pretty small guys, and I'm feeling sick. So, don't do drugs, m'kay...

You might say "Caffiene is not a drug." Yeah, well 900mgs of it all at once in a 120lb person is a drug. LOL, don't pay attention to my insane state of mind...

After just now starting to feel dizziness, I decide to do a search on google for the fatal dosage of caffiene (I heard somewhere it was around 40grams) but I wanted to make sure.

The overdosage is about 350mgs. I took 900mgs. This scared the crap outta me! But, before jumping to conclusions, I kept on reading the article and it said most overdoses do not lead to death. Even further, it said the average approximate amount of a fatal caffiene overdose is 10+ grams. *wipes sweat from brow*

    Again, do not do drugs...lol.

    ---

"The minimum lethal dose of caffeine given intravenously was 3.2 grams.

While coffee drinkers often have caffeine blood concentration of about 1-10 mg/L, a concentration of 80 mg/L is considered lethal."

i drink about 1-4+ cups of tea a day... i am addicted, oh well...

Did you know they keep caffiene on hand in hospitals now to be given interveinously to patients who drink coffee and tea to prevent complications?

No-one, I did not know that...

Yanno, I love caffiene as much as the next programmer, but I seriously took way too much tonight. I tried going to bed a while ago, but I couldn't. I got up and felt very uncomfortable. I didn't know caffiene could be this uncomfortable, but it is...

I was/am pale and my pupils were/are dialated. This seriously isn't cool...

I hope this wears off soon

    >yeah... caffine is dangerous stuff<

It really is. About 5 am this morning (it's 12:00pm right now) I woke up from like a 2 minute nap (I have no idea how I actually managed to sleep). I was still feeling the affects of the yellow jackets and I almost vomited. Everything was spinning and stuff. I swore to myself I wouldn't ever consume caffeine again.

I'm drinking a glass of soda as I post this message...

    >>> i drink about 1-4+ cups of tea a day... i am addicted, oh well...

I'm on at least double that. Two before leaving home, 2-3 during the morning coding session, 2-3 in the afternoon session, then 1-2 after dinner. Big deal?

My personal favourite is Russian Earl Grey, I have a big box of this at the office. At home we mostly use Assam, Darjeeling or Earl Grey. We also have a liking for gunpowder tea at the weekends, mid afternoon.

Now drinking Concha-y-Torro Sunrise Merlot 2000. I think the 1999 was a bit better, but generally would recomend Chilean wine.

    >Which tea has caffiene?<

Just like coffee, most tea is naturally caffeinated. What nation it comes from doesn't make a difference.

But also, just like coffee, there are some types of naturally decaffeinated tea.

Basically energy pills. Each pill contains 300mg of caffeine alkaloids. 3 come in a package...
