    I'm sad

I just sold my 90 Eagle Talon TSI AWD and I'm sad. I live in an apartment so I can't have more than 1 car per person so I was storing it at my dad's house....with much strife.

So I sold it. The car ran like a gem but had a tranny problem which necessitated it's rebuild or replacement. With a garage it would have been no problem, but again the apt thing.

But it sucks. She ran so good, didn't burn oil, didn't smoke, nothing. After sitting outside in storage for 4 straight months through the winter I connected the negative cable of the battery and she fired right up and purred.

Oh well I guess it's just a hunk of metal right?

What other car do you have? It could not have been put into storage or something? I'm guessing that would have been too expensive.

That sucks, sorry to hear about that. After you get your engineering degree you can buy a better hunk of metal

I feel your pain. I had to sell my 92 Talon TSI AWD a couple years back. What a fun car that was, such quick acceleration with the traction of AWD. Sometimes.... when i'm really lonely.... I can still hear the sound of the turbo's blow off valve... pshhhhh *sniff*

damn, i just remembered the cut down shifter it had... it was so short, you could just fire it around like nothing.

    i take the subway now

When you get your degree, make a little 'Old Buddy' fund and store some money in there every paycheck(not a whole lot), and it will add up and then go and find her(your old car that is )! Yes, I got my license this year watch out teen driver!! -runs you over- Sorry didn't see you there.

I like jmd15's idea... not for practicality but just because it's cool.
