    running firewalls in sync

i used to run zone alarm as my firewall, now i have the new version of black ice defender, but BID doesnt seem to detect any suspiciosevents, as ZA used to trap an event every couple of minutes, but ive heard BID is better. If i run these both t the same time how will it work? will traffic flow through one and then through another or will one just not work?

I don't know. Why don't you just try it and find out? Or call ZA's
    or BID's support?
