    Question (DJGPP) RHIDE and WinXP

got a little Problem when using RHIDE (IDE) under WinXP
    (problems i didn't have under Win2k, Win98 -- not even under WinME) >>
when I start it an error occurs >>

"RHIDE has detected that, that the enviroment variable DJDIR
has not been set (or not correct). This is a fatal
    mistake. (...) Should I continoue?
    [yes] [no]"

Rhide quits automaticly, when i click on [no]
An other error messege occurs, when I click on [yes] >>

"RHIDE has detected that, that the enviroment variable DJDIR
has not been set. This means that you haven't installed
DJGPP (But I have, i can compile on the command line...)
    ...
    [ok]"

Rhide now runs with errors >>
when i open a file i can't read it, and i can't write anything into it
    and i can't really compile

if there's anyone outthere, who knows what's goin' on here
    please help me!

Your problem is not directly related to using DJGPP with WinXP.

Check the DJGPP FAQ. You must set the DJGPP environment variable in your autoexec.bat, if WinXP allows you to have an autoexec.bat

    XP does allow an autoexec.bat,
but it doesn't uses it (just like Win2k)

But variables can be set ...
"My Computer >> Preferences >> Extended (or something like that) >> Enviroment Variables...."

    I did this ;), but it doesn't work! °_°
