Six teams make it to the playoffs. Top two get byes, after that it really doesn't matter all that much what place you get in between third and sixth.

Sure it does...it decides who you play...

I agree, just pointing out that typically these things are won by whichever team is hot, not by who plays what opponant.

Or by playing teams that aren't hot. Next week should be interesting with teams fighting for the last playoff and bye spot.
    Try not.
    Do or do not.
    There is no try.

    how do you figure that?

after this week you'll be in 6th (because of poiints), cheez in 7th, and me in 5th. Next week you'll playing against darlen - and you'll probably get whooped then too. I think it'll be cheez and I for the last two spots.

edit:: but cheez did lose both of his QB's...we'll see who he gets. It will be a toss up between the two of you for the last spot.

If everything goes to plan, you me, and cheez will all have the same record after this week and the next. We'll all be 5-8. The only difference will be the points, and with me being nearly 150 points ahead of cheez, I think he'll get bumped. You'll be 5th and I'll be 6th..... maybe. There's still a chance I could end up in 5th and you'd take 6th, unless you somehow figure out a way to win next week.

I'm more than happy with a fourth place finish, let Shaun Alexander and LT knock each other out rather than have to potentially face them both. It's highly unlikely I'll get the bye anyways, especially since it'll take some luck just to win tonight. Just my luck to run into the Nurples during the one and only week the Texans and Ravens are productive.

Course I have a pretty good shot at a loss tonight too...If Parker gets 13 points...Running by committee or not, he's still a good back...That'll shake the matchups up.

Damn you Kermi, foiled my plans for fourth place

Looks like the two of you will be rematching next week. Also looks like cheez is the odd man out.
