I still suggest you follow the link--you can find out how old the pictures of your area are.

I'm a little less than 10 miles west of the airport (if by airport you meant Metro)

I dunno... I just saw landing strips.

There's a smaller airport (Willow Run) right across 94 from me, and then Detroit Metro is just down the road to the east.

did anybody else notice that the little information bubble google pops up puts a shadow on the satellite image?
