I am looking for some good webistes on the net that have classic chess openings explained in a simple manner that clearly explains the advantage and likeliness of every particular opening. I have noticed many of these sites only refer to books which are for sale, but I am looking for a free site that has this kind of information.
I would like to make a list of different openings, and organize them into groups and then learn them by heart. For example, I want a group with those openings that begin with Pe4 (white), Pe5(black), Nf3 (white) and so on.....
I want to learn perhaps 100 variations so I can always feel sure I have a good variation in the back of my head to apply at least during the first turns of the game.
Any good suggestions?
