There's nothing REAL about your depression. You choose to interpret events deliberately in their worst light. You continuously choose to suffer, rather than accept the reality that you don't need to suffer.

You talk about how people blindly follow religions -- you blindly follow your own suffering, and it will destroy you. You aren't real -- you reject your own power to change your situation; you create the lie that the state you are in is the only true state of being, and then you believe your own lie. You pretend that you cannot create your state of being for yourself, and yet, by denying your ability, you indirectly USE this ability, and create a horrible place for yourself.

You'd honestly be better off as a believer of beliefs; you're obviously not cutting it as a creator. You'd still deceive yourself regarding your true power, but it's by far the more pleasant deception.

Why won't you create a meaning for your life? What are you afraid of?

As the topic of this thread is the devil, here's a nice little Nietzsche quote regarding him:

"And to me also, who appreciates life, the butterflies, and soap-bubbles, and whatever is like them, seem to know most about happiness.

To see these light, foolish, pretty, lively little sprites flit about- this moves Zarathustra to songs and tears.

I would only believe in a God that would know how to dance.

And when I saw my devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, solemn -- he was the spirit of gravity, through him all things fall. Not by wrath, but by laughter do we slay. Come, let us slay the spirit of gravity!

I learned to walk; since then have I let myself run. I learned to fly; since then I do not need pushing in order to move from a spot.

Now I am light, now I fly, now I see myself under myself, now there danceth a god in me."

(Series, this was written, BTW, by an atheist who claimed that death is the absolute end of the self -- not everyone who accepts your premises even comes close to accepting your conclusions, which means you need to double check the logic which connects them).

There is nothing to worry about, beacuse there is no satan and no god. The only worry in my life is .... hm .... I think I got nothing to be worried about.

There's nothing REAL about your depression.
My death is real, there is no other option. And I'm not depressed.

You continuously choose to suffer, rather than accept the reality that you don't need to suffer.
I know, I don't need to suffer anymore, I've finally found a real solution. Something that will last forever.

you blindly follow your own suffering, and it will destroy you.
No, it will help me - the only real thing in life is death, I'm just another lie. The society won't allow me to live anyway, I don't have any money left, and no job, and no benefits for being unemployed. But I do have bills to pay and friends to pay. And I'm lazy.

Why won't you create a meaning for your life? What are you afraid of?
Because I can't, the world is empty. And I'm not afraid, I'm just being fair with myself.

So, what is the solution? Is it "I have no reason to live, so I'm gonna kill myself"? What is it?
What will people say if they hear that I'm a Jesus freak?
What will people do if they find that it's true?
I don't really care if they label me a Jesus freak, there is no disguising the truth!

    [quote]

Your LIFE is real, too. You exist in the present; yet you focus on the fact you will cease to exist in the future.

I know, I don't need to suffer anymore, I've finally found a real solution. Something that will last forever.
A foolish solution. Sooner or later, we all die. You're guaranteed to die. You might as well enjoy the life you have, and preciously hold onto every last minute of it. Death will come when it does, but you should fight to live regardless.

Life is a journey, and the meaning of life IS the life itself. It doesn't matter that there is but one destination; the journey should be travelled well, for the sake of the journey.

No, it will help me - the only real thing in life is death, I'm just another lie. The society won't allow me to live anyway, I don't have any money left, and no job, and no benefits for being unemployed. But I do have bills to pay and friends to pay. And I'm lazy.
The only real things in life are death AND LIFE. Life is even more real than death -- you've never experienced your own death; your knowledge of it is derived from extrapolation. You experience life directly.

And don't blame society for your problems. You can get a job, any job. SOMEONE will hire just about anyone (as evidenced by the McDonalds employee who apparently can't manage to figure out how to make a hamburger without onions). You created your problems, and you can solve them, if you bother to try.

Because I can't, the world is empty. And I'm not afraid, I'm just being fair with myself.
The world is empty BECAUSE you refuse to create. It doesn't NEED to be that way; you MAKE the world empty, then complain when you succeed!

You do have some good points, but maybe that's just because I'm tired and listening to E-rotic instead of Black Metal right now.

And no, I can't get a job, I've almost tried as much as I can, I can't even get benefits! Crap-society, it's going to kill me. It's very understandable that I get very depressed when I can't even afford to go to parties with my friends anymore. WTF.

As long as you can afford Internet access, it can't be that bad.
If you really need money, work with McDonnalds or FedEx. They take anyone.

She was so Blonde, she spent 20 minutes looking at the orange juice can because it said "Concentrate."

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
    Then ask a smart question.

Satan is not real. They are in your spirit. It stands for wrongdoings. Ancient people teaches their children by talking about this (Angel VS. Satan).
