I pulled out of my pocket a paper clip and a rubber band.
I launched the paper clip at the door at the top of the staircase, hoping someone would hear me and open it. Luckily they did; it was........................

But just as we were running out the door, the police spotted us, and drew their side arms - and seeing as MacGyver is an anti-gun dude, and I was not carrying...

I panicked and started trying to pull the needles out of my arm, only to find they were actually tentacles! It appeared that I was aboard some mothership from the planet...
