    Peasant's Quest Walkthrough

    This is for all the Homestar Runner fans on the site. If you don't know what Peasant's Quest is, nevermind.

    *** WARNING - IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE GAME, THIS GIVES AWAY THE ENDING ***

    I took advantage of the fact that I have no life, and wrote a walk-through for Peasant's Quest. I'm going to add some instructions on general gameplay at the top of this, but I'm sure you can all figure it out. I just put the words you actually type in CAPS. I was wandering if a couple of people would be willing to just go through the game again with my walkthrough and see if they can spot any mistakes, make recommendations, etc... This walkthrough should get you within 9 - 11 points of the maximum available. If anybody knows how to get the rest, please let me know.

    - Follow the introductory scene
    - Go south twice, west once
    - SEARCH all four BUSHes
    - OPEN DOOR and enter cottage
    - TALK WOMAN
    - TAKE CHICKEN FEED
    - Go north once, west once
    - TAKE the ROCKS on the left side
    - Go south twice (being careful to avoid the kerrek
    - PUT ROCKS IN BUCKET in well
    - TURN the CRANK
    - Go south once
    - TALK MAN at Archery stand
    - Go west twice, north once
    - WEAR MASK in front of donkey
    - Go west once (through the fence)
    - Say HALDO to the archer
    - TAKE an ARROW after he leaves
    - Go east 3 times, south once
    - TALK to the MEN at the table
    - GIVE the men your super TRINKET
    To fire the bow, just push the space bar twice. You must compensate for the
    wind and the distance. Look at the angle and direction of the flag in the
    upper-right-hand corner of your screen and follow the directions below to
    compensate for the wind. To get the height right, you need to press the the
    space bar right before the arrows cross the line on the white bar, and
    right after. If they are equidistant from that red line, your shot should
    be a bull's eye. If you don't make 3 bull's eyes, you get as many chances
    as you want.
    90 left - Put the right tip of the bow between the right-pointing arrow and
    the white bar and go 7 more click to the rights.
    45 left - Put the right tip of the bow on the left side of the
    right-pointing arrow, and go 7 more clicks to the left.
    0 (straight down) - Leave the bow as it is
    45 right - Put the left tip of the bar on the left side of the screen, and
    go 3 more clicks to the left.
    90 right - There is a black vertical line near the left side of the bow.
    Line it up with the left side of the screen and go 7 more clicks to the
    left.
    - Go north twice, and look for the kerrek
    - Stand a safe distance away, and SHOOT the KERREK
    - TAKE his BELT
    - Go south twice, west once
    - Walk into the mud puddle
    - Go west once
    - HIDE in HAY
    - Go south once
    - TAKE the Jhonka's gold
    - Say NO when he asks if you did
    - Go south once, east three times
    - OPEN DOOR and enter cottage
    - TALK to the Woman
    - GIVE the woman the Johnka's RICHES
    - Exit cottage
    - Go north once
    - THROW CHICKEN FEED from the right side of the lake
    - Go east once
    - OPEN DOOR and enter inn
    - Try to GIVE the old man the BABY
    - Exit the inn
    - Go west twice
    - Standing approximately where you got the rocks and THROW BABY (takes a
    few tries in different locations)
    - Go south twice
    - PUT BABY IN the BUCKET
    - TURN the CRANK
    - Go east twice, north once
    - At the right side of the cottage, MOVE the loose STONE
    - PUT the BABY IN the HOLE
    - Walk through the door
    - OPEN the DRAWER, and TAKE the ROBE
    - Go east 4 times, and north once
    - WEAR your ROBE, before OPENing the DOOR and entering the inn
    - Ask to GET A ROOM
    - After you wake up, walk to cupboard, and GET the POT
    The controls will be as follows until you get out of the inn:
    Left Arrow = Move Down
    Right Arrow = Move Up
    Down arrow = Move Left
    Up Arrow = Move Right
    - Walk out the inn, and the pot will come off
    - Go south once and walk under the lantern
    - Go north twice, and TALK to the MAN
    - Go east once
    - Walk up to the cliff and CLIMB CLIFF
    - Enter the cave
    - GIVE the three guards the MEATBALL SUB, COLA, and PILLS, respectively
    - After finding Trogdor, THROW the SWORD

    I'm not sure, but I think the directions got me a little lost at this point. I went east twice and then north once (I think) but the place where I ended up did not have that cottage with the loose stone.

    You're only supposed to get 149 pts out of 150?

    Just search around near the fence that the horse broke, and it'll be a cottage with no doorknob and a stone with dark lining in the bottom right corner of it.

    That should be:

    - TURN the CRANK
    - Go north once, west once
    - At the right side of the cottage, MOVE the loose STONE

    Thanks. Watch out for the Kerrek though. I changed the order of the directions because going west first would get you really close to the Kerrek before noticing him.
