Any good ISP ?
Hey,
I've not been around on this board for a year or so so i dont know if it has been asked and since this is something which can change rather quick im asking it now.
Is there any good reliable ISP right now?
(and no im not looking for anything free i want to get a decent something )
Actually its not for me but for the NGO where im a member of called CEO - Community Enpowerment Organisation - which is based in Nigeria ( for those of you who dont know where Nigeria is its in West-Africa ), thats by the way where i have been during the past year.
Thank you in advance,
greetz,
Ganglylamb.

heeeyyyy i remember you!!!
anyways...
so you need an ISP...and you are still in Nigeria?
I have no clue what ISP's there are in Nigeria....
Juno is a fairly good one here in the USA, and is cheap, however, I am not sure if it has any service in Nigeria.
have you googled for Nigeria ISPs?

Well the thing is im no longer in Nigeria right now and there are almost no Nigerian ISP since all the cybercafes i was working with were getting their signal trough satellite (Vsat) most of them are european ISP's.
I will check that Juno u talked about maybe it something that fits my needs.
Thank you very much DavidP and yes i also remember you as well. ;)
------edit------
just a question im connecting true broadband cable to thte internet so i can download at a max of 10 Mb a second and upload at a max of 128 Kbps, at what rate would the upload and download speed be from a "juno" site?
Thanks
----seond edit-----
you know what i already found it for 36 Euro a year i can get a webspace from my own isp although i dont like it but since im already registered with the isp its costing me less...and especially when you know that most NGO's dont have too much money availble so we really need to look at every cost.
Anyhow thank you very much DavidP for the quick and short reply,
Laterz,
