oh and BTW, I've never heard of that book David, but from the summary I don't think I would like it very much.

Any John Grisham book is good.
I'm trying to get The DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons by John Brown from the library.
Orson Scott Card is good, too.
Guh, I had to read this book at work. I made money while I was reading it, but it still wasn't worth it. This guy's made millions of dollars by telling people "if you don't adapt to what's happening, you'll fail"Quote:

Well, I've caved in and bought the book last week. I just finished readnig it and have a similar sentiment to Rick; the last 100 pages or so where pretty bad, it seemed as if Brown lost steam while writing it.
I've read and heard about many of these theories before when I took an art history class a few semesters ago, but the book was still quite interesting and fun to read. It is still way to expensive though; if you're interested, wait for the paperback.

yeah that was the same story at my library...I was going to europe and I heard the book is really hot over there, so I ended up buying it a week before I left....but it was like 30% off plus I had some money left on my borders gift card :)

not at the library around here...they got lots of copies and all are available
There's nothing wrong with either of those books. Two of my favorite books are Catcher in the Rye and Lord of the Flies. I didn't read them in high school, I read them because they're good books.Quote:

never said there is GC, I enjoyed both of thos books as well...its just something I noticed; a trend we could call it :)
