Does this mean that when I finish my personal gaming project and feel like releasing it, other than maybe posting it on the game board, I should post it on the new projects board and not the gen. disc. board?

hah, you beat me to this post davidp. I just saw that and it looks like a pretty cool idea, get some talent-swapping going on or something.
I can't wait till people start posting requests like:
"omg, we l33t hx0rs are making a full 3D quake engine, we just started learning c++, but we're looking for any help we can get!"
