    The Evil, Evil Game

    Petals around the rose.......eeevil.
Anyway, heres the game: http://personal.baker.edu/web2/cdavis09/roses.html .
I never got the answer. I looked it up . They say that the smarter you are, the longer it takes. Hints:

-The name of the game matters.
    -The answer is ALWAYS even.

    Don't post the answer!

EDIT: I might give you the answer in a PM if you give me reputation or something .

No, the answer's not 4. Also, Lurker asked us not to reveal the answer even if we do find it.

The answer is not a number but a method of finding the right answer regardless of the throw

finally figured it out, so simple! The name of the game does have to do with the answer, dont' let other people tell you that it doesn't

It took me a ton of guessing, writing down numbers, then i slammed my head in to the couch and tried to figure out how the name had to do with it, sat there for 10 minutes, and figured it out

i dont think the name is very good. I eventually figured it out but i only realized how the name relates after i noticed how to solve it. heh, that might not make much sense but thats the best i can explain it without giving away the answer

Took me a couple minutes...I don't see how people could take longer than maybe a day to figure that out unless you are a complete moron...Err I mean genius

It actually took me a while to get it. I ended up looking it up. The problem is that people who are more analytical try to hard to solve it using pure math and don't take the visual approach. The name is important but for people who aren't as visual it is hard to make the connection.

Wow, I was off. I did about 3 of these and got an equation that works for most of the answers. Ok, it isn't working too often anymore.

lol, this is eactually pretty clever. I end up founding the answer from hints in a few of your posts though, oh well I found out my answer was incorrect by doing so.
