Actually, we're going the American way
It's been in the newspapers here a few times.
I can't remember the % but we (europeans) keep getting fatter and fatter.

I don't know if this is my bursting sense of patriotism speaking or what, but the woman (and she's a lot of woman!) on the right is HOT! If eating McDonald's does that to a woman, I think I'm going to order Big Macs and fries for all the women within a mile radius of me!

The American Woman is an instant reminder of the great girth of our beloved United States of America. We're transcontinental!

God bless America, and God bless America's bigger women!

Don't know whether any of the UK people around here have been watching the "if..." series on BBC 2, but this week's one is "What if we don't stop eating?"

    Answer....U.S. of A :P

I'm not a big fan of the US myself, but that is one of the worst stereotypes ever. I hate stupid crap like this.

Confusion with no point and a more serious steryotype within the US that is far worse.

Sterotypes are almost always based on something real in the first place. The fact of the matter is that most of America IS overweight, over 50%, and over 30% are obese!

Though I must say, I'm not sure where all these fat people are hiding.. in a croud it doesn't seem like more than 10% are even overweight, most of the time the people I see are really quite skinny.
