Promotion
A few weeks ago i was struck physically by an AMIT (assistant manager in training) ay my place of employment. Due to the obvious problems with this situation she has been removed from the workplace, and i have been given some awsome news.
Someone has to replace her at the AMIT position, and i have been informed that i am the person that is going to do it. I am going to begin training next week on how to open the store, stock the cash drawers, and file the needed paperwork!!
Im so excited. Anyway, i am making 7.50 an hour now, and i was wondering how much to ask for. I think at least 9.50/10 because i know others make more than that.

shoot for the highest. let your boss know what kind of money you expect. what do you have to lose anyway?
...and what did you do to make her slap you? were you a bad boy...
-
Congratulation on the promotion. I cant comment on the wage (the rates seem extremely low lol im used to working for the AUD :P ) rate though, are you able to look up awards/rates of pay applicable to your job area, due to responsibilities etc...
Good luck with the position aswell.
P.S. Your tutorials are giving me something to work on and fiddle with, then finding answers that crop up is part of the fun :D

Lesson 6 is still screwed so email me and ill send u the cpp file you need.
Anyway, shes just a <insert> and decided she could get away with it.
-
we all know you really grabbed her arse
-
personally, i think he groped her inappropriately (i.e. in front of others), otherwise, she would have probably been fine with it. ;)
if you're a risk taker, you can request a higher amount (say $13.50) and negotiate with them, and settle for nothing less than what other AMIT's make. who know, you could wind up with a higher hourly wage than other AMIT's.
congrats.
-
Exactly, you shouldn't make any less than what other AMIT's make. Well, at least you got a promotion, for whatever reason she slapped you :p . There must have been SOME reason though, right? I mean, she didn't just walk up and slap for no reason right? I'm going with the groping theory too :D
$7.50/hr though? What's minimum wage for you? Out here (Washington State) I think minimum wage is like $7.20 or something like that, haven't worked for minimum in a long time. I would expect no less than $9/hr personally, since that's starting wage where I work...
-
i would kill for 7.50 an hour... minimum is 5.15 in kansas... then again the cost of living is some of the cheapest in the country and im 17 so i can't complain too much.
-
our minimum is 5.50.
