    Quit being a jerk...

You know, if someone is confused and asks a
question that may sound stupid to you, it is not
okay to insult them. Some programmers on this
board seem to think that they know everything; that
they were never, ever confused. I really doubt
    that is true.

Turn the computer off. Take it back to the store. You are more suited towards other interests and lines of work.

Sorry, but not everybody can, or even should, be near a computer.
I'm sorry, but Computer-Nerds that act like this
deserve to be shoved in lockers.

Heh, sayeh leaves for a few months, comes back, and acts like a jerk to someone...go figure.

Ugh, I hate the nerds at my school! THey think they know everything, and they're ALWAYS wrong..."No! I'm telling you I heard everything works better if the wire goes HERE, Ken!" "Ok, suit yourself...you can put it in, since it was your great idea." *BBZZZZZZT!* one less jerkoff in the world...

Ugh, I hate their shrill, nasley voices, how they love math and get every single problem right, laugh at teachers' dumb jokes, talk about nothing but school and computers, and here's what I find really sad...have LAN parties. Normal people have fun parties - at theirs you sit at networked computers and play games.

"Hey guys! I'm having a party!"
"Cool-beans, dude! I'll bring the computer and ethernet hub!"
    "Neato!"

    *shudders*

I think it's OK to treat people like ****. Only weak people can get hurt.

    Pendragon :

Love's mathematics, gets every single problem right (so far), laugh's at professors dumb jokes(with the rest of the class), meets up with friends over a nice relaxing game of EverQuest.

    Jeez I'm sad.

That's not the best attitude to take...

I give as good as I get.

People don't respect me, I don't respect them. Simple as that...
(except when they're my boss of course )

yes! scientific calculators fit nicely into my flannel breast pockets [see, there is a use for them...] graphing, not as nicely, it's snug, but it's kinda bulky... i'd do it anyway... that... and they fit nicely into the pockets of my khakis...

    yes!!!

I didnt get on with any of my teachers/lecturers...... I hated the kiss ass mentality of laughing at jokes that were not funny so that you could be teacher's pet....... In return the teachers hated me........ It used to become impossible to get out of bed in the morning to go to the lectures/workgroups and witness this sad display.... eventually they tried to boot me out for lack of attendance....... Yeah I know it was my fault, but I was what ....18 and away from home for the first time in my life.

Anyway, at one point the head of my department was listing to my pleas to be left on the course.
Head - "Mr Ford.... your attendance record and attitude throughout the year does not warrant a second chance. For instance, Quantitive Methods in Business..... you did not attend 1 single lecture this semester"

<I had already done that in my A levels and the lecture was like at 9AM every Monday>

Me - "What?... that's not true"

Head - "According to the register it is.."

Me - "there's some mistake by the lecturer"

Head - "Oh... and who was the lecturer?"

<Doh!!!.... walked into that one.... ok Fordy think quick>

Me - "Oh....cant remember his name.... that old feller from the Business School with the glasses and beard"

<He he ... nice thinking... that discription covered most of the staff>

    Head - "Actually...is was me...."

    Me - "Oh......"
I think he took pity on me for being such a pathetic moron

That's a true story by the way......
